I love photographing my friends! The sessions feel so effortless and there’s none of that nervous energy that can sometimes show up for people at the beginning of a session. My friend Morgan scheduled a Mommy and Me session at Breitbeck Park on Lake Ontario. It included her 2 boys, her angel son, and her military husband in the form of a doll. We had tons of laughs!

It was a hot July day, and I met up with Alaina and Christopher at the E.M. Mills Rose Garden at Thornden Park in Syracuse for some garden engagement photos. The rose garden makes up just a small corner of the 76-acre park, but is a true showpiece with more than 3,000 rose bushes, completely maintained by volunteers.

Suzie and Dylan reached out to me in the spring to inquire about engagement photography in downtown Syracuse, NY. Between the gorgeous weather and their infectious passion for each other, this entire session ended up being utter perfection.

Anjelica and Tyler stumbled across my Instagram page in 2019 and next thing I knew, I had their elegant finger lakes wedding on my 2021 schedule. Stepping onto the grounds of their venue, the Inns of Aurora, felt like you stepped back in time, which fit this classy wedding to a T.

Jenn and Steve hosted a small wedding at Arlington Acres, a barn wedding venue in Lafayette, NY. Their day was filled with sunflowers, dogs, and lots of love from family and friends.

When Lauren and Derek thought about the photos from their intimate elopement in July, they imagined they would feature candid moments and natural-feeling portraits. They saw my portfolio of past weddings and knew I would do their sweet home wedding justice. It was an easy and enthusiastic “yes!” on my behalf!

Elise and John chose to have their winter engagement photos taken at their wedding venue, Sinclair of Skaneateles. This venue has an amazing style and plenty of locations that make it a no-brainer for some cozy indoor engagement photos.

It was great meeting up for a family photo session with Rachel and Patrick and their new baby Rylan since the last time we had seen each other was their wedding in 2018! The mom and baby photos ended up being some of my favorite from the entire session!

The absolute best thing to come out of covid-era weddings has been the resurging popularity of the backyard wedding. Destiny and Sam opted for an ultra-personalized outdoor wedding ceremony on Sam’s parents’ property in Oswego, NY.
