Like many couples who planned to get married in 2020, Kaylie and Zach decided to go ahead with the official marriage and hold off on the celebration until the following year. So when their first anniversary rolled around in 2021, they hosted a DIY backyard wedding reception with all their family and friends.

Nothing brings me more joy than having the privilege of doing a little lifestyle family photography for the same family multiple years in a row. I photographed the Newton Family in the fall of 2020, and they invited me to return for some backyard family photos once again this year.

Hannah and Spencer saw that I was hosting fall mini sessions, and thought it seemed like the perfect opportunity to test-run my services. They still hadn’t decided on a wedding photographer, so this was a great chance to get to know each other with some fall engagement photos!

Jessica and George wanted to do a waterfall photo shoot at Delphi Falls for their engagement session. When the day finally arrived, it looked like our option was to either reschedule the session or take some very rainy engagement photos. When I reached out and asked what they wanted to do, their response was fast and confident: go ahead with the shoot. I love a couple who's up for anything!

I was so excited to find out that my first event at Windridge Estate RedBarn 20 would be Margot and Simon’s non traditional wedding! This duo always makes things so fun and effortless, I knew this day would be more of the same.

Iman and Justin found me on Zola. We set up a Zoom call to get to know each other and before I knew it, we’d made plans for an engagement session. You can’t go wrong with Chittenango Falls as a location. It’s got a forest, bridges, wildflowers, and of course it’s the perfect spot if you’re craving some epic waterfall engagement photos!

Emily & Ben's vow renewal at the Cracker Factory was the big bustling wedding they never got to have! The industrial wedding venue was filled with loved ones, laughter, and plenty of competitive shuffleboard.

Brianna and Bryce reached out wanting some pregnancy announcement photos to share their big news with family and friends. They chose to have the shoot done where they got married: Green Lakes State Park in Fayetteville, NY.

Lauren and Jesse’s mansion garden wedding started with the trees. What I mean by that, is they chose the Oneida Community Mansion House as their wedding venue partly because of its magnificent trees.

Annie and Jake decided on The Orchards at Rocking Horse Farm as the location for not only their wedding, but their farm engagement photos as well. This is a really sweet way to give a preview of your wedding without giving too much away.
