Cabrey Family, Brewerton, NY

I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t excited to decorate for the Holidays this year! I think after 2020 we all need extra joy. Lindsay and Mike were one of my first wedding couples back in 2016, and last year they had a daughter last year. It was only fitting to reconnect and take holiday photos for them! I always love getting the chance to create new memories with my couples and their families.

Sugar Blossom Cake Shop, Liverpool, NY

I had the chance to photograph their desserts and the lovely owners, Lauren Scarpelli and Kaleigh Ligoci, a couple of months ago as some promotional shots for them! I stopped in last Saturday during their soft launch and picked up a box of goodies. It was amazing to see them, catch up, and admire their shop! I’m already planning my next visit. I highly recommend stopping into their shop. It’s located right in the village of Liverpool.

Adventurous Elopement Styled Shoot, Syracuse, NY

I am so excited to share this blog post! This shoot has been a year in the making. Kim, Jeff, and I were originally planning on having adventurous session after their wedding, but 2020 had other plans. What was going to be an adventure session turned into an elopement styled shoot. With so many couples adjusting their plans because of Covid, I knew I wanted to portray how FUN an elopement can be!

Cazenovia, NY Engagement Session - Jessica and Shadi

Sometimes, no matter how far out you are planning your engagement session, it still doesn’t happen until 2 weeks before your wedding. Jessica booked me back in early 2019 for their wedding, but between our busy schedules, the perfect time for their engagement session wasn’t until 2 weeks before they were set to get married in 2020. I am so glad it worked out like it did! This session does not disappoint!

Planning A Wedding In 2020 From A Bride's Perspective (Part 2)

Hi! My name is Holly, and my husband Nick and I got married this August, amidst the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Nick and I had originally planned on getting married at Cicero United Methodist Church in October. Eventually, this changed, and we decided to go ahead with our church ceremony as planned, just with fewer guests. Our guest list ended up being about twenty people -- our parents, our siblings, my grandparents, and a few aunts and uncles.

Engagement: Christine + Travis, Oswego, NY

Christine reached out to me to photograph her engagement session with Travis last fall, and I was excited to meet them back in my hometown for it! They first met at the farmer’s market in front of Canal Commons when they were teenagers, because what else does an Oswego, NY teen do to hang out with friends besides get a snow cone and fried dough? Pro tip: have your engagement photos taken at a place that is meaningful to both of you. It makes your session even more memorable!

Emilie + Jordan, Bistro 197, Oswego, NY Lake Ontario Elopement

Emilie met Jordan while she was auditioning for graduate school in Ithaca, where he’s from. From the way she told me about Jordan and how the photos were going to be a surprise, I knew they would be so sweet together! We met up at Breitbeck Park to start taking pictures. The golden, glowy sunlight was perfect as they got cozy, ran around in the snow, and even had a snowball fight. When it was time, we headed to Bristro 197 for drinks, dinner, and the celebration with their parents.
