Jenna + Zach’s Black and White Wedding at Dibbles Inn
This classic black and white wedding held at Dibbles Inn in Vernon NY had such a timeless feel and so many personal touches that Jenna and Zach are sure to cherish these memories forever. This is such a fantastic venue—between the lush forest ceremony site and the vintage-themed Gatsby Room for the reception, it’s the perfect all-in-one spot to celebrate.
We kicked things off at the house where Jenna was staying, starting with photographing her gorgeous wedding details and a few candid getting ready moments. Her mom helped her into her wedding dress while her bridal party waited across the way for the big reveal. Once she was dressed, Jenna had a father daughter first look that had everyone in the house tearing up.
Zach and his groomsmen arrived shortly after, and we got him set up outside for their wedding first look. The moment was sweet and heartfelt—like two best friends seeing each other after a long time away. After that, the entire wedding party joined us for a few portraits, then we all made our way to Dibbles for the ceremony.
Jenna and Zach’s ceremony took place in the grotto, a stunning little nook tucked away in the woods, simply perfect for an intimate forest wedding. One of the sweetest surprises were the “flower grannies”—Jenna and Zach’s grandmothers acting as flower girls. They absolutely stole the show walking down the aisle! The happy couple exchanged vows and rings, and it was such an emotional, love-filled moment when they said “I do.”
After the ceremony and family portraits, the three of us snuck away for some forest wedding photos. The sun was casting a soft, golden glow through the trees during our photoshoot, resulting in so many romantic, glowy images.
Jenna and Zach joined their guests for cocktail hour while we photographed all the reception details inside the Gatsby Room. The space looked incredible, and the vibe was so joyful as everyone made their way in to begin the reception. Jenna and Zach shared a beautiful first dance, followed by parent dances. After everyone was seated, we heard heartfelt speeches from the best man, matron of honor, and both dads. By the time Zach’s dad was finished, there wasn’t a dry eye in the room.
After dinner, I snuck the newlyweds outside for a few photographs near the fountain before heading back in for cake cutting and dancing. Their guests kept the dance floor packed all night long—it was truly the best day.
