Kelly & Tom’s Engagement Session with a Waterfall Adventure
As a Syracuse, NY wedding photographer, I love it when couples choose locations that feel personal and meaningful to them, and Kelly and Tom’s engagement session was the perfect example.
We started the session at their home in Central New York, where we ventured into the woods in their backyard and captured some candid moments with their two beloved dogs. These photos were full of genuine smiles and playful energy, and how cute are their dogs?! Including their pups made the session feel uniquely “them,” and I’m so glad they’ll have these memories to look back on.
After wrapping up at the house, we headed to Totman Gulf in Adams, NY, a hidden gem for outdoor lovers and a dream location for a Central New York engagement session. The lush greenery and peaceful trails led us to a stunning waterfall, where we spent most of our time capturing romantic and adventurous portraits. The natural backdrop gave the session a wild, woodsy vibe, and Kelly and Tom’s chemistry made it all the more magical. We arrived there at the perfect time, since we had the entire place to ourselves! I’m always happy to do early morning or late night sessions to avoid crowds at popular areas.
Whether we’re hiking to waterfalls or hanging out with furry family members, sessions like this are why I love being a Syracuse wedding photographer. I can’t wait to document Kelly and Tom’s wedding day at Bayshore Grove in Oswego, NY!
