Wolf Oak Acres Wedding: Emily and Chris, Oneida, NY

Emily & Chris got married at Wolf Oak Acres on a beautiful August day. I loved their engagement session so I knew their wedding would be awesome! As soon as we arrived at Wolf Oak Acres I could feel the excitement in the air as Emily and the girls were getting their hair and makeup done in the upper portion of the barn. We took pictures of them getting ready, the details, and location scouted for Emily’s first looks.

Father and daughter first looks are always so emotional. There is such a special bond between the bride and her dad. We made sure to have their first look on the way to her first look with Chris, who was waiting underneath the covered bridge. Emily’s dad walked her to meet with Chris, and their first look was so special. She gifted Chris a pin with memory charms of those who they wished could be at the wedding. We took some photos under the bridge then headed to the swing and field for pictures before their ceremony!

As it became time for the ceremony, everyone found a seat or place to stand by the pond. Emily’s friend officiated the ceremony in front of the arbor as the two exchanged vows in front of family and friends. After the ceremony, everyone took a break for a cold beverage supplied by Katrina and Russell, and then we took photos with Emily and Chris, their bridal party, and families.

Isn’t this bouquet by marys4everflowers beautiful?!

Chris had to show his personalized underwear, which made laughter erupt while taking bridal party photos!

Then Russell took us around the property in their bus for more photos with just Emily and Chris! Their waterfall is always so beautiful, and I love a good veil shot! After that, we went up by the cabins for photos in the field before their entrances, first dances, and toasts before dinner.

After dinner, they cut their cake and fed each other as they smeared cake all over each other’s faces. It was the perfect way to begin to end their night. The last thing we did was take golden hour portraits back at the field. The sun might have already set, but the sky was still perfect. They loved recreating some of my posing prompts from their engagement session, like the drunk walk and sneak attack. Scroll down to see those! Emily and Chris, thank you for including me in your wedding celebrations! We had so much fun and loved being there for you both.

Love the genuine reactions I get from my sneak attack prompt!!
