Mermaid Styled Shoot, Syracuse, NY
I’m excited to be bringing you a blog post this week where I can just feel the warm summer air radiating from them! I think in the middle of a CNY winter, we need some warmth and sunshine right about now!
Margot reached out to me to do a mermaid session last summer. Anyone remember the old bathtub mermaid session I did? She was one of the models for it! I’ve loved following her journey over the years. She also is an artist with a business called unremorseful.art that I highly recommend checking out! I actually have a few of her paintings hanging around my house!
Hannah Iozzia of Face to Face MUA helped with hair and makeup (and she was an amazing lighting assistant) and Ashley Rose helped with jewel placement and assisting!
It had been so long since I’ve done a creative shoot, and I loved getting the chance to create with this team! We hiked up Tinker Falls this summer morning before the trail got too busy, and the scenery did not disappoint! It was the perfect mystical, mermaid landscape.
This location felt like a mermaid grotto, as if we were in our own fantasy world!
I LOVED everything about this shoot!
