Brianna + Luke’s Fall Engagement Session at Green Lakes

Brianna and Luke’s fall engagement session at Green Lakes State Park in Fayetteville, NY, was everything you’d hope for in an autumn photoshoot: colorful leaves, golden light, and so much laughter. As a Syracuse wedding photographer, I absolutely love photographing at Green Lakes because the stunning trails, vibrant fall foliage, and sparkling reflections on the water create the dreamiest backdrop for engagement photos.

We started their session walking through the wooded paths where the leaves had already fallen, creating a perfect golden carpet beneath their feet. Brianna and Luke told me about their special handhold with their pinkies. It’s one of those sweet, unique details that’s just them. Of course, I had to capture it! Little personal touches like this make engagement sessions even more meaningful.

As the sun began to dip lower, the reflection on Green Lake created the most beautiful glow for their photos by the water. That golden light added such warmth and romance. It was the perfect setting to showcase their connection.

And then came the leaves! These two had so much fun playing in the fall foliage. From running hand in hand to a playful dip-and-kiss surrounded by vibrant orange trees, Brianna and Luke brought so much joy and energy to their session.

I loved spending this afternoon with them, and I cannot wait to capture their wedding day at Springside Inn in Auburn, NY. With such a fun-loving and down-to-earth couple, I know their wedding will be filled with so many genuine moments.
