Shawna + Adam’s Outdoor Fall Wedding at Paradise Gardens
Shawna and Adam’s outdoor fall wedding at Paradise Gardens was such a joy to photograph! Their day had all the charm of a rustic fall wedding, complete with beautiful scenery, personal touches, and so much love. I had been looking forward to this one for a long time. After following their story and having them model for my last styled shoot, it was so special to see their real wedding day come to life.
When we arrived at the venue, we immediately got started taking details and getting ready photos. Shawna looked stunning in her lace wedding dress and flower crown, surrounded by loved ones as she prepared for the day. We then headed outside so Shawna could do a father-daughter first look. It had everyone tearing up, and was such a heartfelt way to start the day.
Their outdoor wedding ceremony took place on top of a hill at the venue, with breathtaking views all around. The space was decorated beautifully with touches of pumpkins and other fall wedding decor, perfectly complementing the season. One of my favorite parts was the alpacas they had as guests! The wedding alpacas were such a fun surprise and made for the most adorable photos. Shawna walked down the aisle barefoot and grinning ear-to-ear.
After they said “I do,” we made a quick trip to their local diner so we could take some pictures somewhere that meant a lot to them as a couple. The staff had stayed open just for them, and the photos we captured there are some of my favorites. Shawna and Adam hollered, “see you tomorrow!” as they left. It really is their regular hangout spot! We snapped a few more pictures outside the diner and inside Adam’s grandpa’s pickup truck.
When we got back to Paradise Gardens, we took family and wedding party photos before heading into photos with the Bride and Groom. The property is gorgeous, especially this time of year.
Once the couple was introduced into their reception, they shared their first dance and parent dances, followed by a few touching toasts before dinner. After dinner, they cut their cake and kicked off the party with the wedding shoe game, which had everyone laughing and cheering.
As the sun dipped down, we snuck outside for some sunset wedding photos. The golden light over the hills was perfect, and the setting couldn’t have been more beautiful. We even stopped to visit the alpacas again for a few fun shots before heading back inside to rejoin the party.
The rest of the night was filled with dancing, laughter, and celebration. It was the perfect ending to such a joyful day. Shawna and Adam, thank you for trusting me to capture your wedding. I loved every minute of it and wish you both all the happiness in the world!
