Kate + Corey’s Barn Wedding at Curtis Manor

Kate and Corey’s barn wedding at Curtis Manor was a gorgeous celebration filled with laughter and cozy autumn charm. Even though the forecast called for rain, they embraced the day fully, making every moment of their fall wedding count.

The couple got ready in separate spaces before sharing a quiet “first touch” in the bridal suite. It was the perfect tender moment to help calm their nerves before the ceremony. Their barn wedding ceremony kicked off with Corey carrying their son down the aisle. The whole thing was heartfelt and personal, with the highlight being the exchange of personal vows, which they then tucked away in a memory box to cherish for years.

Since the rain lingered through the afternoon, we moved their portraits indoors, where the rustic wood tones and warm lighting created the perfect backdrop. Their fall wedding colors blended beautifully with the barn’s decor, adding to the romantic, seasonal feel.

Kate and Corey entered the reception hand-in-hand for their first dance, which was followed up by parent dances and a few emotional toasts. Once dinner began, the fun kicked into high gear with the always-entertaining shoe game. They also took photos with all of their guests by inviting each table to join them on the dance floor for a quick picture.

After cutting their cake, we finally caught a break in the weather and headed outside for a few more wedding photos. The golden leaves and tall silos made the perfect backdrop, capturing the rustic charm of fall wedding photography.

The dance floor stayed packed all night, and before the evening ended, Kate and Corey shared a private last dance, taking in the quiet after all the excitement. Their night wrapped up with a sparkler exit with friends and family lining the path. Everyone cheered as they drove away in Corey’s truck with a “Just Married” banner on the back.

It was such a joyful day from start to finish, and I’m so grateful I got to document this beautiful celebration of love and family.
