Mia + Christopher’s Forest Engagement Photos at Green Lakes State Park

One of Mia and Christopher’s favorite things to do together is to go on long walks. So we decided to meet up at Green Lakes State Park for their engagement session so we could take our time wandering the property and snapping plenty of lake and forest engagement photos along the way.

Their story began in high school, where they were nothing more than friends. Time passed, and it wasn’t until their senior year of college that they reconnected. But this time, they started dating, and they’ve been together ever since.

It was my first time meeting Mia and Christopher in person, but it was such a breeze. I loved watching these two interact naturally. Their laughter and the way they looked at each other… their relationship was made up of a million sweet moments which I had the pleasure of capturing.

We explored Green Lakes State Park together, walking the trails, chatting, and stopping along the way to take their summer engagement photos. Thankfully, you can’t tell from the pictures just how hot it was that day! We took it easy, but they made it truly effortless. They had fun with the prompts I gave them, and just let the natural chemistry between them create the moment.

I had so much fun getting to know them better and creating these images for them. I can’t wait to see them again soon for their Memorial Day weekend wedding at The Lodge ar Turning Stone Resort and Casino!
