Destiny + Sam's Fall Engagement Photos at Fallbrook Recreation Center

There’s not much better than taking your fall engagement photos in a place you love, with the person (and pup) you adore, while doing the activities you enjoy. That pretty much sums up Destiny and Sam’s engagement session.

We started off at Sam’s family’s property where their Great Pyrenees, Marshal, immediately stole the show. I enjoy dogs of all shapes and sizes, but there’s something really special about sharing a big furry hug with a dog like Marshal on a crisp fall day. I always love when my couples want to include their pup in their engagement session (or wedding day). After all, they’re family!

Destiny and Sam took me around the property and we snapped some pictures while also discussing their upcoming wedding, which is taking place there as well. I had heard their wedding day vision previously, but seeing everything in person really brought it to life.

We headed to the Fallbrook Recreation Center in Oswego, NY for the rest of their fall engagement photos. We had a blast exploring the property and taking some memory-making pictures. I told them to give me their best “drunk walk,” which just turned into all of us cracking up. After that, I had them act like they were reuniting with each other at the airport for the first time in months. Naturally, they killed it with that prompt after all their experience apart while Sam was serving in the Air Force.

These two really enjoy hiking and spending time together outdoors, much like myself, so it felt totally serendipitous that they found me. They willingly agreed to all of my ideas for their fall engagement photos - even climbing a tree together for a quick cuddle session.

I loved getting to know Destiny and Sam (and Marshal)! I can’t wait to share their super sweet backyard wedding with you. Stay tuned!
