Alexia + Liam’s Elegant Wedding at The Orchards at Rocking Horse Farm

Alexia and Liam planned a traditional and elegant wedding at The Orchards at Rocking Horse Farm, an immaculately landscaped upscale barn wedding venue in Jamesville, NY. I love the feeling I get whenever I pull up to a wedding at The Orchards - I just know that the photos are going to look amazing, and every little detail will be taken care of. And that’s exactly how Alexia and Liam’s day turned out: low stress and full of love.

When we first arrived at the venue, I gathered up some details to photograph, then we started preparing for the father daughter first look between Alexia and her dad. She presented him with a couple sentimental gifts, and it was a really touching moment between them. After that, we headed over to where the guys were getting ready. I snapped some pictures of Liam with his Groomsmen, then we all packed up and drove to the church.

Alexia and Liam held a traditional church wedding ceremony at the Immaculate Conception Church in Fayetteville, NY. The whole thing felt personal and meaningful, and the wedding guests erupted into applause when it was time for the first kiss. We took some photos at the alter after the ceremony, then the newlyweds stepped outside to a sun-filled bubble exit.

Once we were back at The Orchards, it was time for portraits. But first - a few candids with the beer donkey! The wedding party joined us for some fun pictures, then the happy couple and I ventured out to take advantage of the beautiful weather and scenery for their wedding photos.

After the cocktail hour, everyone got into position for reception introductions. The barn at The Orchards is spacious with soaring ceilings and a large dance floor. Alexia and Liam decorated it in shades of blush and coral. They shared a first dance, spinning Alexia’s cathedral-length train all around the dance floor. Afterward, they danced with their parents, then we heard toasts from Alexia’s dad, the Best Man, and the Maid of Honor.

Everyone enjoyed dinner and cake, then the dance floor opened up. It was packed all night! We ended the evening with a big exit with all of their guests waving light wands in the air. It was the perfect ending to a perfect day. Congratulations to the happy couple. I adored documenting your love!
