Over Memorial Day weekend, Rebecca and Ryan got married in front of the beautiful Green Lake with its stunningly blue waters. These two found me about a month before their wedding, and I'm so happy that they did! They had a completely DIY wedding where everyone chipped in to help, an intimate and emotional ceremony with their closest family members, and then all their friends came over in the afternoon to celebrate their marriage and dance the rest of the day away! Scroll down to see the prettiest groom's ring I've ever seen made from a whiskey oak barrel, the emotional ceremony, and plenty of love and laughter.
I met Laura and Joe, and we immediately got along at our initial meeting! Joe is also a photographer so I knew that they were going to be very careful with selecting a wedding photographer, especially when they told me that they couldn't decide on anyone yet. I was thrilled when they asked me to be their photographer.
For their engagement session we met up at Abbott Farms and then headed over to Beaver Lake Nature Center to find a quieter area for more pictures. Laura and Joe's engagement session was full of love and laughter, as evident in these images. I cannot wait for their wedding next year!
