Rebecca + Nicholas’ November Wedding at Emerson Park Pavilion
Rebecca and Nick’s November wedding at Emerson Park Pavilion was the perfect mix of warmth and late fall beauty. Their day felt cozy and romantic, with thoughtful details and just the right touch of seasonal charm. Emerson Park is such a lovely spot for an outdoor wedding, especially for couples who want a Fingerlakes wedding venue with lake views and flexible spaces.
They began the day at the Hilton Garden Inn in Auburn NY, where we started with detail photos. I loved the way they incorporated dried citrus, eucalyptus, and soft florals. Those elements added so much personality and texture, making Rebecca’s details feel one of a kind. While I wrapped that up, Nick and his groomsmen headed out on the shuttle to Emerson Park.
Once everyone arrived at the venue, the final preparations began. Nick spent some time outside for photos while Rebecca put on her dress. Before the ceremony, she shared a tender father daughter first look that was full of emotion and excitement.
Their outdoor wedding ceremony took place on the covered porch at Emerson Park Pavilion, which was a surprise choice for a November day in Central New York. You never quite know what the weather will do, but they lucked out with beautiful conditions! The ceremony felt intimate and heartfelt, with Owasco Lake in the background and fall colors surrounding the space.
Afterward, we explored the park for portraits, taking full advantage of the scenery. Golden light showed up right on cue, giving us the dreamiest sunset wedding photos. Rebecca and Nick looked absolutely stunning, and the fall tones paired beautifully with their romantic wedding colors.
Once inside, the two of them took a quiet moment to walk through the reception space together. The room was filled with meaningful personal touches. Rebecca had even made the cake herself! Their postcard centerpieces featured favorite places they’d traveled together, adding a sentimental layer to the decor.
Their introductions flowed right into their first dance, followed by parent dances and a few heartfelt toasts before dinner. After the meal, they spent time catching up with guests, cut their cake, and then snuck away to the cocktail area for a few more couple portraits by the bar.
The celebration continued well into the night, with guests filling the dance floor. Rebecca and Nick wrapped up their day dancing together to “Forever” by Noah Kahan, which felt like the perfect ending to such a thoughtful and romantic fall wedding.
