Kimberly + Jeff's Upstate NY Elopement at the Syracuse Courthouse

When my boyfriend, Brandon, first introduced me to Kimberly and Jeff, I had no idea I’d be using my skills as a New York elopement photographer to help them out in a pinch. At the time, they were deep in the middle of planning their Hayloft at the Arch wedding and had already hired another Syracuse NY wedding photographer to capture the event. Of course, like many 2020 weddings, Covid quickly threw a wrench into things, and they were forced to postpone their wedding reception until the next year.

Fortunately for me, nothing was going to stop these two from getting married! They kept their original date and planned a small upstate NY elopement. It’s no small feat to elope in New York state in the middle of a pandemic, but this couple kept their cool. I enjoyed helping Kim plan out the details of their Syracuse Courthouse wedding from the dress to the timeline.

After they exchanged their vows, I met up with them at Franklin Square Park for Bride and Groom portraits. Their tight-knit group of family and friends had their turn in front of the camera, and within an hour, everyone was headed to Turning Stone for an intimate celebration.

I can’t wait to attend their wedding later this year and hear them say “I do” in person!
