Danielle + Anthony’s Fall Wedding at Tailwater Lodge Altmar

Danielle and Anthony had a laid-back fall wedding day at Tailwater Lodge in Altmar NY, filled with beautiful colors and an outpouring of love and joy. Despite the forecast of rain, we were still able to capture some stunning photos of the newlyweds around the scenic property. The whole day was filled with heartfelt moments, from the first look to speeches, creating a memorable celebration at the Tailwater Lodge.

The morning was easygoing, with Danielle and Anthony getting ready in their respective rooms. I loved watching the wedding party get ready as well! Their mismatched bridesmaid dresses looked amazing with the bouquets. It was the perfect way to incorporate fall wedding colors into the day.

I led Danielle and Anthony to their first look, just outside the hotel. Danielle’s friends couldn’t help but watch as the happy couple saw each other for the first time that day. Everyone was genuinely excited for the events to come. Even the rainy forecast couldn’t put a damper on their moods!

We snapped some wedding party and family photos before the ceremony, which was held inside the lodge. I love the way they decorated the rustic space - lining the aisle with gigantic mums. There was this build-up of joy and excitement that started when Danielle walked down the aisle, and peaked the moment they finally said I do. I loved watching them walk back down the aisle as husband and wife. They were so happy!

Once the ceremony was over, we headed outside for a few rainy wedding photos in front of the building. I grabbed some pictures with Danielle and Anthony and their daughter, and they turned out so precious! Thankfully, the rain took a break so we could venture out and explore the property a bit. We headed into the woods, and Anthony requested a photo of the two of them with a fisherman in the background. Even if that was a joke, I made sure to deliver! Danielle and Anthony of course looked stunning in every shot.

We made it back in time for the cocktail hour, and I grabbed some detail photos of the reception space at Tailwater Lodge before everyone came in. The reception began, Danielle and Anthony were announced, and they went straight into their first dance. Their daughter joined them near the end for some extra-sweet family photos. Parent dances came next, followed by speeches and cake cutting. Then the party really started! The dance floor was packed for the rest of the night.

I absolutely loved this entire day celebrating Danielle and Anthony! And I would be right back at Tailwater Lodge the very next day for Pat and Brooke’s wedding. Stay tuned for their blog!
