Laura + Joe || Hayloft on the Arch, Vernon, NY

I met Laura and Joe through a friend/Laura’s cousin who I went to college with. Turns out that one of Laura’s best friends is also one of my best friends! Small world! As soon as I met them, we instantly hit it off. Brandon and I got to Hayloft on the Arch early to check out the finishing touches of decorating. We took detail shots (they had maple syrup as favors, perfect since Joe helps on his family’s maple farm!) and getting ready pictures of the girls and guys. I even tried to help with the clasp of Laura’s “something borrowed” bracelet that she wanted to wear. Their laid back wedding happened on the perfect late September day.

Their ceremony was short and sweet, and afterwards, the bridal party got to have their fun with pictures! I was able to take stunning pictures of Laura and Joe before they were needed for introductions, where Joe entered their reception wearing a white cowboy hat that was passed around throughout the rest of the night. We were even able to take stunning twilight portraits before ending the night. Thank you both for letting us spend time with you on your amazing wedding day!
